Read time as a map, not just a number

World Time Map is a free tool for comparing local time, date, daylight, and time-zone differences across cities in one view.

What does it provide?

Search 57 major cities and see them on the map. Live time updates every second; changing the reference date and time updates every city and the day–night boundary together. Saved cities can be removed individually.

How are time zones calculated?

Each city uses an IANA time zone. Your browser and operating system apply the standard-time or daylight-saving offset that is valid on the selected date.

How is daylight calculated?

The map estimates solar declination and the equation of time to draw the subsolar point, night region, and sunrise–sunset boundary. The glowing Sun is not a city marker.
